THE WORK
We are looking for an out of the box thinker to help drive our Internet Marketing Campaigns. This would include managing our many Social Media pages, organizing and coordinating our email marketing initiatives, updating our company blog sites, filming and editing short market and service video clips for our website, etc. Interns will gain experience working with a medium size service company dealing with many different aspects of day to day business operation.
THE COMMITMENT
Interns are required to work a minimum of 16 hours and a maximum of 35 hours per week for the duration of a summer semester. We expect each intern to possess a positive attitude and drive, to be on time, and keep close contact with our staff. A large shop blasting facility adjoins the building providing in-house painting and sandblasting services for our customers' portable construction equipment, trucks, trailers, cellular cable trays and structural steel.

CAREER DEVELOPMENT
1. Credit Internship: Alpine offers a college-credit internship program. Your Supervisors can produce a course syllabus if you are able to receive credit for your work with us. The program involves more than just executing projects and your supervisor will review the requirements with you before you agree to intern for credit. In addition, you are required to complete 20 hours per week for the duration of 16 weeks.
2. Summer Internship Program: Alpine extends paid summer internship programs.
3. Resume Reviews: Alpine accepts resumes on an ongoing basis for internal positions as well as for our referral program to our clients.
4. Mentoring: Your supervisor is always available for mentoring sessions and can refer you to other Alpine staff members if you have specific questions about the industry that you would like addressed.
5. References & Recommendations: Our Alpine staff would be glad to provide you with a letter or recommendation for your future endeavors. We would also be happy to be listed as a reference for your resume. It is business protocol to ask permissions before listing someone as a reference.
